What’s been happening:

My wife Kay & I left State College in 1966 with many great memories, including then University Baptist Church on Burroughs St., Rev. & Mrs. Earl Spencer, College Min. Robert Boyer, grandfather-sitting Dr. S. W. Fletcher, Sr. & having special friends Peg & Paul Pierson & Jim & Velma Self. I returned from SUNY Stony Brook with son Scott (1) & wife in June, 1967 to receive my PhD in Chemistry after following my mentor Dr. Albert Haim there. On 9/1/67 I accepted a job as Asst. Prof. at Baylor Univ., earned an Outstanding Prof. Award in 1982, was designated Master Teacher in 1993, Chaired Pre-Med./Pre-Dent. Advisory Cmte. 19 years, and served as Interim Chair of BU Chemistry & Biochemistry Dept. for 2 years, 11 months. I have taught honors sections of General Chemistry I and II for 35 years, various courses in Inorganic Chemistry at undergrad. & grad. levels, & Environmental Chem. Kay and I also have a married daughter Helen & 4 grandchildren (3 girls & a boy), reasons not to retire!
